A.W.C.C.
The Animal Welfare Community Center was a mock non-profit that I created for my final project in school. The project was to seek out a need, create an organization that appeals to that need, and finally brand the organization accordingly. After coming up with the idea for a volunteer based, privately funded animal shelter, I wanted to create a brand that made the organization’s personality shine.
The artwork was based off of old grassroot organizations and volunteer efforts. The text reminded me of old picket signs and hand-made marketing tactics, while the color schemes are based on the colorful construction paper based signs used in picketing. I put together some posters along with the typical print material that would aide the cause and help better build the brand.
