As most of you know I’m absolutely in love with Mac, though I’m still very new to it. I just purchased my Mac Pro in June and I’m still constantly learning. The hardest lesson that I’ve had to learn over and over again is to always search for free apps before purchasing any software.

Hey Everybody, sorry for not posting all week. I’ve decided to take the week off from my blog to focus on family and freelance work. Though, I just found this online and I wanted to share it with everyone. This video is not only an incredible use of typography as art, but this is an incredible company. If any of just have to buy me a Christmas gift this year, this is exactly what I want… and after you see the video I’m sure you’ll ad a pair to your list too. Sorry I didn’t find this until now, I wish I would have found it a month ago.

I’m finally done with school, after far too long. I’ve been juggling a full-time design position, Dunlap Studios, full-time school and my home life for almost a year now, and all of them feel like full-time jobs! I’m happy to say goodbye homework and hello free time!
The topic of “speck work” has been all over the design boards, blogs and forums for quite some time now, so it may seem like I’m beating a dead horse. Though the topic has been covered everywhere, I still would like to put my opinion and voice out. Why? Because, I want to have a personally written piece that I can reference when I’m approached by clients requesting speculative work, which is daily. (more…)
